Fort Logan Cooperative Ministries

Affiliate of the Kentucky Ecumenical Empowerment Project (KEEP)

Located in Stanford, KY, Fort Logan Cooperative Ministries is a non-profit caring ministry of the Lincoln County Ministerial Association which includes Disciples of Christ congregations.  FLCM is in the people business.  Clients have grown from 18 families in 1989 to over 3,000 today.

A centralized Community Ministry Center decreases the possibility of duplication of services and results in wiser stewardship of resources.  Ministries are accomplished in cooperation that could not be done by individual congregations.  The only criteria to receive assistance is need.  Part-time coordinator, Betsy Smith, channels resources and volunteers from churches and other help agencies in Lincoln County to meet needs as they arise.  Office hours:  1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Areas of Ministry:

  • Food Bank

  • Assistance with rent and utility bills

  • Medical expenses

  • Counseling

  • Spiritual guidance

  • Church referral

  • Jobs Referral Program
