Enjoying the music of AppalachiaKAM Produces Its First CD, STAY A WHILE

An important part of KAM's mission statement is:

  • Sharing with the larger church the distinctive gifts and experiences of the people and congregations of Kentucky Appalachia

In order to live out our mission and in support of our children's ministries and college scholarships, KAM has produced Stay A While, a CD sampler of traditional Appalachian music.  The CD features nine outstanding artists and groups and has eighteen selections.  From traditional Appalachian String band music to Appalachian Blues to Blue Grass, this CD is a true Appalachian sampler.

We want to thank the artists who have all donated their work to this sampler.  We all offer thanks to Bill and Dina Campbell at Stonebridge Press in Henderson, Kentucky and to Bill Johnson, technical producer.  The music on this CD is the artists' gifts to you.  So, "stay a while" and enjoy the music that belongs to Kentucky Appalachia!
